Musical Notes

Music has always been an important part of Jewish worship.  Over the past several thousand years, Jews have used instruments to add dimension to worship.  At Beth Miriam, we do the same and we are very proud of all our musical moments.  In regular Shabbat services, holiday services and special events, you are bound to feel the prayer with a keyboard, guitar, flute, sax, and a variety of voices and styles that enhance the worship experience.  We embrace music and we are blessed to have accomplished musicians at the temple.

There are also special musical events that we participate in including Friday Night Live, a Shabbat rock service led by the TBM band, community singing events such as Yom Hashoah and Yom HaAtzmaut and other joyous and serious events.  We have performed for Hannukah, our choirs have performed on Mitzvah Day and, if music is part of the moment, Beth Miriam will be there.
