Our Staff

Rabbi Cy Stanway: Rabbi at Temple Beth Miriam since 1998. Previously, he served congregations in Hattiesburg, Mississippi from 1987-1990, Las Cruces, New Mexico from 1990-1998 and has been in Elberon ever since. In addition to leading the congregation, Rabbi Stanway is active in the general community, especially in issues dealing with children, and is an amateur radio operator. Rabbi Stanway’s e-mail.
Stella Jeruzalmi Stanway: The administrator and Principal of our Religious School. Mrs. Stanway has a Masters in Educational Administration as well as several other educational degrees. She is a fluent Spanish, Ladino, and Hebrew speaker and has and extensive Jewish day school education. She is a certified teacher in New Jersey, New Mexico, Texas and Mississippi.
Frank Marsico: Our building superintendent. Frank does it all around the temple. Whatever you need, Frank is there to help. Frank has been here since 1973.
Marje Richter: Our administrator and often the voice on the phone when you call.  She is the nerve center of the temple, coordinating everything from billing and invoicing, paying the bills, coordinating the calendar, dues and life-cycle events.  Marje is also the main liaison with the temple membership, board and rabbi, religious school and staff.
Dee Ross:  Our Senior and Junior Youth Group director.  Dee joined us in 2007 and has been heavily involved in NFTY and other Jewish organizations all her life.  She comes to us with a wealth of experience.
Jeanette Sieh: Our assistant office administrator who does much of the day-to-day office work.  Jeanette is one of the friendly voices at the other end of the phone and is our newsletter publisher and coordinator and chief editor.
A resident of Cherry Hill, Scott Borsky has been a pulpit cantor for nearly 20 years.He has been active in all aspects of Jewish life for many years, including a Jewish rock & roll band called B’samim (Spices).  Upon returning from the University of Texas, Scott began his cantorial studies and has remained active in our New Jersey Jewish community ever since.  In addition to his Jewish interests, Scott’s other love is songwriting. Scott has written hundreds of songs and recorded many of them.

He has been active in all aspects of Jewish life for many years, including a Jewish rock & roll band called B’samim (Spices).

Upon returning from the University of Texas, Scott began his cantorial studies and has remained active in our New Jersey Jewish community ever since.

In addition to his Jewish interests, Scott’s other love is songwriting. Scott has written 100s of songs and recorded many of them.
