Join us for our Shabbat Together program for children, parents and grandparents. This program is specially designed for children 6 and under and will include:
- Craft on a Jewish theme
- Special PJ Library Jewish Story
Shabbat Together is led by the Rabbi and the Cantor and will include:
- A combination of music, movement, and learning offering young children and their parents/grandparents/caregivers an early exposure to the Shabbat experience through age-appropriate songs & prayers
- A basis for learning songs, hand motions and language that reinforce the meaning of Shabbat, its rituals, the Torah parsha (Torah portion) and the importance of Tikkun Olam (Healing our World) through story and crafts
- An opportunity for parents and their young children to have their first taste of the warmth and joy of the Shabbat experience. It also provides a community within Beth Miriam through parent/grandparent/ caregiver socializing, wrapped around the Shabbat Together Experience service.
To get the PJ Library offerings for free every month or so, download the PJ sign up form and either bring it to the temple or mail it in to the address on the form.
